The Memorial Garden

When the memorial sculpture, ‘Absence’ was erected, the Memorial Garden was still to be designed and completed. Havant Borough Council cleared the site and laid a block paving path to the sculpture in time for the dedication on 11 August 2006. The completion of the garden and the installation of memorial plaques is an ongoing project. A new voluntary organisation the ‘Friends of Emsworth Memorial Garden’ has been set up to oversee the completion of this project and to care for the garden, its sculpture and the memorial trail,
